Bring your car to Brightwalton Fete Sunday 4th May 2008 13:30 – 4pm
We would love to welcome all classic car owners to Brightwalton fete. 2007 brought an interesting selection including pre and post-war classics, classic racers and one-off specials! We hope you will be able to join us and increase the eclectic mix.
Come along and enjoy the fun of a traditional village fete with lots of entertainment for all the family - and admission is FREE!

- Well-stocked beer tent including Arkells ales
- Delicious barbecue selling locally produced sausages
- Locally supplied pig roast
- Blewbury Brass Band
- Classic cars – a fascinating journey through motoring history

Brightwalton Village Hall, RG20 7BN - just off the B4494 Wantage – Newbury road
Entry and car parking free!
Lots under cover if it rains!
Classic cars: please arrive before 13:30 if possible (later arrivals welcome but please be very careful as the field will be full of people and activities).
Please also be careful if leaving before 4pm (don’t worry we won’t lock you in!!).
Directions
From Wantage:
Take the B4494 (Chain Hill) towards Newbury.
After about 6 miles, take the first Brightwalton turning – right.
As you come into the village you will see Brightwalton Hall on your right just after Butts Furlong.
From A34 West Ilsley:
From the A34 head to West Ilsley and turn right at the T junction opposite the church.
Turn left just before the cricket pitch and Harrow pub, signposted Catmore and Lilley.
Follow the road for approximately 3 miles until you reach the junction with the B4494. Turn left onto the main road and first right towards Brightwalton.
Follow the lane past the Brightwalton Village signs and to a T junction.
Turn left. You will see Brightwalton Hall on your right just after Butts Furlong.
From Newbury:
Take the B4494 from Newbury. Go through Brightwalton Holt and take the 2nd signposted turning to Brightwalton (left).
Follow the road to a T junction by some barns, and bear left.
Turn right at the T junction and as you come down the hill you will see the field and hall on your left. Enter the field gate just before the village hall.
PARKING
Classic cars: Ignore the car park signs and enter the village field via the wooden gate just past the hall. Please enter carefully in case of pedestrians.
Modern cars: Follow the car park signs to the free car park behind the village hall.
