Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum and very glad I found it Smile

I have Royale Caravan that's in need of interior and exterior renovation.. and I have to admit I am clueless and desperately in need of some advice..

Much of the plywood panelling inside needs replacing as do the two front windows. ANY advice on how to go about this would be very welcome. I've tried to strip out some of the panelling which did not come out in one piece so I'm wondering how to get the correct shape for the new piece of replacement ply wood.. also, how do I replace the windows in terms of having the glass/acrylic cut and replacing the rubber trim..

She needs a paint-job, too.. should I paint both the aluminium sides as well as the fibreglass roof? Is it acceptable to do this by hand? .. I have very limited funds..

I could do with the following replacement items, if anyone has them for sale, or knows where I can get them:

Nearside door
Aluminium trim for 'stripe' down side of caravan
Jockey wheel/'A' frame cover

Thankyou Jan xx

Jan, there is a thriving Royale Owners Club, which has all sorts of technical people. Unfortunately, they're all away at a Club rally until Tuesday!
Google Royale Owners Caravan Club, go to "welcome to my world", and download the application form. For the £15 membership fee, you'll get all the advice and encouragement you'll ever need.
Btw, where are you? We have members all over the UK ( and two in France), so there may be someone near you.

OOPS! Jan, I've just checked the Royale website, and Google goes straight to the site, so forget the "welcome................ etc"

I tried making a template but with paper, which clearly hasn't worked. Seems I was barking up the right tree though.. will try with card.

Yes, will take some pics deffo..

Re owners club, yes I've heard if them and I shall be joining as soon as I have a spare 15 quid!
