that Dodge is fab, something that old really appeals Smile

Spotted a smart Herald convertible and Mk1 Mini in Nantwich last night. From time to time I've seen a tidy red Frogeye in someone's driveway in town, keep meaning to drive by closer and inspect it Wink

Now isn't that smart! Very Happy

It looks like a very nice example of a common-or-garden daily driver of the 1960's, sadly the one's nobody bothered about. I'm pleased this one has been saved.

spied quite a few Jowetts driving along the A41 yesterday, must have been a gathering somewhere. Javelins, a Bradford pickup (did the factory do a pickup?), Jupiters, and some earlier ones I couldn't id.

was around Whitchurch (Shrops) yesterday and there seemed to be a lot of oldies driving around, while out in the Devon I saw an S Type Jaguar, various MGBs, Austin 8/10 tourer, a Moggy van towing a saloon on a rigid bar, and a smart grey Minor 4dr. Needless to say camera was not to hand.. Rolling Eyes

Driving through Crewe the other day I spied an NSU Ro80 in a driveway, thats the 2nd one of those I've seen lately (another one lives in Audlem, which isn't far away).

Seen around 4:30pm today on the A64 just outside of York, this little rose taupe Morris Minor which I followed with interest for a couple of miles.
You might wonder what was so interesting about this car that made me tuck in behind and shadow him for a while?

Well it's this... don't ask me how! Laughing

the Moggy looks like it is sat on beefier wheels, so perhaps hinting at something going on 'under the hood' Smile

Hi

Had a bit of a lie in today, so decided VSCC will be next year, My dad saw "some onld open top cars" heading that way this morning, early on, but with him having leass than a little interest in cars that is as best I could get out of him!

I have also just seen a mk1 escort, I think, heard it going past, and saw a flying glimpse of the back end, so could be wrong, it was in flame red anyway!

Cheers

Yesterday evening we spotted a refugee from the VSCC do at Oulton, parked at the side of the road in Nantwich, a 20s racing car, I think a Frazer Nash or possible a GN, either way it was at the Curborough do a few weeks ago. Oily and purposeful, looked fantastic.

On the way back from Gaydon today we were passed by a brand new Bugatti Veyron, barrelling up the M6. Ok modern but quite an eyeful on the normal roads!!
