Once the pick up back welding was done i went to look for more rust.
All the metal below the grills had to be replaced, managed to find a good used front valance & bonnet, that saved a bit of work. |

Next to try & save the front wings.
Made up a new section for the rear of the wing, by this time i'd had enough of rust & was lucky to find a pair of s/h fibreglass wings, i'll go back & finish the steel wings when time allows. |

Hi
Is there enough of the rear wings and doors left to make up some gentle flared arches over those wheels? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Wings now fitted, n/s door has had the bottom 5 inches of the skin & frame replaced.
After a bit of adjustment of the wings everything started to line up nicely, starting to look like i'm getting somewhere, added a nice brown guide coat, did think the colour suited it.

There was nothing left that could be saved on the rear doors & wings, have had a look at making some spats for the rear arches, i might do that at a later date. |
