Hi
Just went to get the new engine, by gum, it is bigger than I thought, got it in the mini, but have had to ring a mate to come and give me a lift out with it! The mini has taken on a little lean! hehe
Pictures later or tomorow!
Cheers

Hi
Yes indeed!
I am getting toward selling the Estate, it runs now, be it a little hot, but the window wiper switch is smoking so before the mot, tax and insurance I need to sort that, after this I can try to sell her, then buy the landy!
Cheers

Hi
Only one post as the fast internet connection is down, so I am using a dial up connection and am getting a little ticked off, how slow!
Why you had to show me a steam engine, my parents may wonder!! hehe
I don't think this is a good purchase, got to save my pennies for my landrover, then I will have a load area to buy all manner of things! My parents are real scared now!!
Cheers

you really will need to buy a Landy soon to cart these engines to shows
I wish you all could see the display this one fellow tows around to shows. It is an enclosed trailer, in which the sides fold up, and open to create canopys. Inside he has his engines displayed. The biggest one drives a belt, that turns a shaft mounted to the roof of the trailer. He has every type of drill, saw, grinder, and pump you can imagine....all belt driven from the rotating shaft on the roof!
It`s an AWESOME display! I`ve never seen such a large collection of antique engines & apparatus all in one spot before, outside of a museum. |

Hi
A line shaft driven workshop on wheels, sounds a handy piece of kit, I would like a stationary one, and would definateley not say no to a mobile one!
I am putting the landy off for a while, I have too much other stuff going on just now, I also want to concentrate on getting the pickup road worthy!
Cheers
