I came across the 1980 Honda 125 twin at the weekend.
Fit for scrap ? or should I go and throw it in the back of the van

Looks like one to weigh in to me!
It would have to be quite a bit rarer to warrent rescue IMHO .

To be fair, there comes a time when things are beyond rescuing, and as Honda twins are not the rarest of motorcycles, I think the humain thing to do is to put it out of its misery _________________ KA

Wholeheartedly agree. The expression "a fools errand" comes to mind.
I'd put it on eBay, someone, somewhere must need that reflector on the forks......................

Stick some fuel in it and see if it'll start first. If it ticks over like a sewing machine you might decide it's worth keeping! |

Looking at it I'm not immediately sure where you would stick the fuel! Like most sentiment here I reckon that the "L" plate in this case, stands for Lost Cause!

I think the chain guard was the deciding factor, not many machines made with them excluding the range of MZ's, even fewer Hondas, CD 175 had one also if I remember correctly.
