I'm looking for, and have been for best part of 20 years!, a Ford 7W grille. Its similar to the Ford pop grille but has 3 slots instead of 2. Any condition, very rough or straight. Maybe someone knows of a scrap one somewhere I have a Ford 7W that was fitted with the early Prefect E93A grille/bonnet etc in the 1950's. I'd be happy to swap these? |

Unfortunately I don't know of one, being rare as they are, but have you thought of using a GRP one until you find a steel one?
Not ideal, I know but just as a temporary measure maybe?
Not much help really |

Thanks Greg,
I have seen the GRP ones on ebay and they do look good value. I was offered an original grille last year, it needed a few repairs but the chap wanted over a grand for it. That's a bit too much for me. |

I thought you'd be were aware of the GRP ones
But as you say, that kind of money is just too much !
For that money, I'd want the rest of the car bolted to it
Good luck, hope you do find one soon |

I am trying not to get to excited...
I have found an original steel front grill for the 7W! I am in negotiation with the vendor but it is very reasonable on price and will only need a little fettling.
Its been a long time looking but hopefully with this I could re-start the restoration. |
