Good-looking car wasn't it, if that had been re-painted I doubt it'd have sold for anything like that figure.

It had been on Classic Cars For Sale at £9750. I bid on it on ebay but missed out. I love the back end of Flying 12s.

Curious... Having apparently sold on ebay for £6400 no reserve, and not withdrawn), it has been relisted by the same seller again with no reserve, and has also been listed on ebay by Historics at Brooklands for auction at the end of the month!
