Popped down to Malpas this afternoon, quite a busy event (judging by the car park if nothing else) and definitely not the last if the signs are to be believed.

Every time I've been, I've heard that rumour. Looks like the organisers are getting fed up of it....

Interesting, I didn't spot those signs. I think one of the key organisers passed away, so that may have prompted a recruitment campaign.

We went on the Sunday and had a good time, aided by the weather, which led to the tootle home by back lane being one of the more enjoyable trips in (small) Dodge that we've undertaken this year.

The Foden coach is surely a rarity? I have never seen one before. The South Yorkshire bus museum has a coach on a Leyland Comet chassis, which is one of only 2 in existence I believe.
