Hullo again, from the look under the old girl's headlining some parts of the interior of the roof must have some surface rust on the inside of the roof surround. Looks like I need to loosen off the liner and /or remove it. Any one know if it will wash? Has anyone fitted anew roof liner in one of these.is if difficult _________________ best car ever Daimler V8 saloon 1965, cost me £450. first car Model y Ford cost £15.cars ove 50 years A40 Devon, a30, 35 , consul 375,mini cooper 1962 herald, viva hb Opel ascona, austin1100 capri mk2 many cortinas, saab

I have fitted headliners in V8 Pilots and pre war V8's it's a bit fiddley but not difficult, I would think small Fords are much the same. I tried once tried to shampoo the headliner in a V8 Pilot in situ. It shrank and pulled away at the edges so I had to fit a new one. |
