Hello,

Firstly, thanks Richard for quick registration! Very Happy

I present myself, Quentin, 25 years old. I live in France, precisely in Brittany and am an old vehicles enthusiast (motorcycles, cars, bicycles…). I have several vehicles, of years 1900 at the years 1950... And that made a few years that I think to looking for an English pre war car. I found two cars there a few weeks, an Austin 8 Tourer and an Austin 8 Saloon. I'll get on Saturday.

Excuse my English, but you must know the reputation of the French…

Further, I have a Renault Primaquatre 1931 an a Simca 5 1947.

An image of the "34e Tour de Bretagne" which we made in a Peugeot type 37 1902 with a friend (I'm in the right Smile )

Welcome to the forum.

It would be good to see threads for each of your cars, if possible? The Austin 8 tourer is very rare, even in the UK, as I am sure you know already Smile

Welcome to the forum Quentin.

I've just answered an enquiry that I'm sure you would be better at. See: http://www.oldclassiccar.co.uk/forum/phpbb/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=16636

Your English is better than quite a few native speakers.

Peter

Bonjour Quentin

Michel

Thanks Rick! Yes, it's possible, I'll do that.

Yes, on internet, I haven't seen a tourer in France... It doesn't mean that there are not, but it's rare.

Peter, this is beautiful French cars, thank you for the link.

Michel, Yes, English and French language are different. It's difficult for a French using short sentences, our sentences are too long Laughing

Hi Quentin. You have a good collection of cars.I met a restaurant owner in Corfu 2 years ago who had this outside. He really wanted to get it running but I think it had too many pieces missing. The first thing he wanted was wheels and I said I would look for some but it is a very rare car. It seems that many of them were used during WW2 and therefore ended up in unexpected places around Europe.

Hello Smile

Yes, she also appears damaged... and incomplete! It's a www2 model, with a hood and different wheels of the civilian model. Which effectively says she arrived so far Wink
