Hello I wondering if anyone has any suppliers they would recommend for;

-Steel anti slip tread plate (not sure of the correct name!)

-The piping which goes between panels etc and also door seal/trim

Thanks very much

I've always had success with Woolies for things like this but have also recently tried Baines. Search for either on Google and you should find them.

Gary,

You will find the wing piping at http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk/

The tread plate will be found on a Google search.

Hi
Is there a reason you specified Steel? Because you can also get tread plate in aluminium which shouldn't have the same weight penalties.

Hello ,I think the tread part it is called "pyramid strip", we wanted some a little while ago and found a carriage and wheelrights place had some. I know we looked for ages until we could even find the name of it. I seem to remember it comes in two different widths. please tell us if you find a supplier. Ken

Just looking on the website of commercial body fittings (www.cbf.uk.com ) and they appear to have something resembling what you need. It is in the steel section but can't tell if it is like the old type by the picture, might be worth a phone call. Ken
