Having "retired" from my Riley RM business, I seek a pleasant diversion in the form of a Rochdale Olympic, pref. Ph II but anything considered, and any condition. Don't mind work - in fact I am hoping for some!

It might be worth dropping Bob T a line, he has - or had - a Rochdale GT not long ago and may have contacts:

It would seem that I have found a Ph I Olympic, Ford 1500GT pre-crossflow engine, Minor front suspension and rear axle.
I haven't collected it yet (though I have paid for it!) so not quite sure what is there and what isn't. I am told there is no carb, so I will be on the hunt for a Weber 28/36? plus manifold maybe.
Also I am told it is a Minor rear axle, so I will be after a higher diff (Spridget?).
Does anyone know if a Riley One-point-Five rear axle (the casing, not the diff) is identical to a Minor? If so I suspect I could do with the Riley rear brakes and backplates. Are there any halfshaft differences?
Also, are the One-point-Five wheels wider than Morris Minor ones? Or will I have to hunt down some Minor van wheels?

OK guys - an update.
The Olympic Mk I has come and gone, having "upgraded to a Mk II that needs much less work. It has a 1600 GT crossflow as per the original, which makes it quite unusual in the incestuous world of Rochdales.
I would like to hear from someone who is in possession of the following -
Morris Minor/Wolseley 1500/Riley 1.5 wheels
Triumph Spitfire secondhand front hubs/discs/callipers. I do have the hubs but the callipers are missing, as are all required fixing bolts, hoses etc. I am intending to buy what I can new, but lack the confidence to say with assurance exactly what I need, so trying secondhand components would be very useful.
Also, does anyone know if there exist hubcaps to fit Morris Minor 1000 wheels in stainless but without the central pressed "M" logo?
Cheers

I've seen a few J-Type vans with Minor "M" hubcaps (instead of the correct plain caps), so I wonder if plain J Van hubcaps would do the job? Just a thought.

The hub caps look like MGA ones to me. Don't know if they'll fit though, MGA had 15" rims.
