Hi,
My daughters Morris 1300 has got problems with the front wheel calipers. Both sides the piston is siezed. Before she decides to change to discs are there any sources for a replacement or are new seals the only option. Does any one know if the single piston type were fitted to any other vehicle?
Thanks in anyicipation |

I agree with Kev, but if they cannot help try Pastparts. They will be able to re-manufacture the old ones.
From memory the brakes on the 11/1300 were Lockheed for the Marina BLMC (what ever they were called then) swapped allegiance to Girling so there probably is no other caliper source. |

Can you confirm the year of the vehicle, and whether it currently has discs or drums on the front? You mention calipers which implies discs, but then you say she's thinking of converting to discs, so I'm confused. If you can confirm I've got some old parts books that might help |
