I quite like this and it would be rather rare too.
We honeymoon'd in New Zealand and I do recall seeing some places particularly in South Island that had many 50's Austin's. One garage sticks in my mind as it had 5-6 A40 Somerset's sat in a row out front, all for sale. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

About twenty years ago I tried to buy one of these from our local scrap metal dealer. He didn't want to sell it, but two years later it went in the crusher! |

That one has a non-standard rear body. the original was much more attractive, as the lines followed the styling of the cab.
Larry, it is very unusual, as they weren't common in their day. The later A70 Hereford was more often seen, but even they weren't common. |
