That's one nice motor, Rick. I've always likes Willys cars, especially the 30's and 40's ones. Something about the basic design is quite appealing.
The one you link to seems like more of a sophisticated machine. The sleeve valve engine sounds interesting, apparently they don't require the same amount of maintenance like valve grinding and adjustment that conventional engines do. However a rebuild if required could be expensive as the sleeves are white-metaled in some engines. |
