Hi Gang,
I've got a 1948 Ford Thames E83W van and wondering what style of fasteners are used?
Inch- metric -whitworth or something else.
I rebuilt the engine and used a mixture of inch and metric wrenches
thanks

Likely to be UNC and UNF. Wrench sizes measured in AF (Across Flats)
7/16" AF is 11.1125 Not everyone has an 11mm Wrench
1/2" AF is 12.7mm, so with a little metal loss over time may accept a 12mm wrench.
3/4" AF is 19.049mm easy to use the wrong wrench.
Not a Ford article but interesting because of the confusing diversity of anything that contains the words "Motor Cars and Thread Sizes" in the same sentence \.
