Interesting Mini-based ice cream van, there used to be one of these not far from here that appeared at local shows. A business opportunity perhaps?

Morning all,

The neat "Batman" ice cream van has re-surfaced again on ebay, following a no-show by the previous bidder it seems. With the fine weather hopefully not too far away, I guess this might be a better time of year to sell it anyway, compared to November.

I assume the basis for these vehicles was a standard pickup?

This is a cracking looking van, but if you look in pictures 3 and 7 in the ebay listing there is another rarity. It looks like a HA Viva van with a luton body fitted, possibly with a side window for a mobile shop or ice cream van.
I don't think I have ever seen another HA van with a similar body.
