Perfect for chilly days, the interior looks very inviting (plus the upper cylinder lubricant can under the bonnet is a nice touch).

Central chassis lube - our 1938 Rover 16 has a Luvax Bijur set-up and all moving points are supplied under low pressure with oil that is pumped by via the manifold vacuum.

It could be an aftermarket upper cylinder lube affair as per the can just above it but most cars of that era get enough via piston ring blow by!

To me it seems that just the mention of that wonderful bit of 1930's engineering - the Pre-selector gearbox takes £5-10K off the price of a classic.
After all, why have such refinement when for an extra wad of notes you can have a crash box, double de-clutching and all that goes with it Confused
