Morning all,

It's been a while since a sporty car featured in these parts. This is the Apollo GT, a car which may well have appeared in one of the Herbie films - painted yellow iirc, and driven by a mustachioed scoundrel.

I find it amusing that bidding is over £4,500, which, according to the text, is for an emailed spec sheet!

Big Italian dinner plate dials, Borrani's, fab period stereo. Amazing noise 3cwt lighter than an E Type, same horsepower result WOW!!!.
Club data shows this was one of the cars used in the Herbie movies but I have been unable to verify this
Car is in superb rustfree condition and drives beautifully
Possible (only possible) part exchange

Just to re confirm and re-iterate last paragraph but one of Auction description EBAY AUCTION IS FOR DETAILED SPEC SHEET ONLY. Seriously interested, please contact by email

So which is the "last paragraph but one"?

To me it looks like a description of a car and not that of a "SPEC SHEET".

The seller was obviously hoping to avoid the fees for a high priced sale; what's the betting he pulls the listing before it expires...

Well, it's the only one with that registration number... and if they'd only made ten, then it would have been very unique Laughing
