Hi The top of the engine has what look like 4 seperate Rocker covers but they each have some sort of electrical connection to them.
What are they?
Is it an OHV, OHC or SV engine? _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

I think it's a bit like the Riley engine with hemispheric combustion chambers (hence central plug positions) and a camshaft each side quite high up operating short push rods and rockers. There is a gear on the front of each camshaft and both are driven from a third centrally located gear which is chain driven. The engine designer, R. H. Rose also design the Riley engine.

Is that torsion bar front suspension, and a centrally mounted steering box? _________________ KA

It does have torsion bar front suspension but I think the thing in the centre of the track rod(s) is just an idler.
