Anyone know if it is in any way shape or form possible to convert the singer Gazelle 111c/Hillman minx to front dsisc brakes? It must be possible somehow. I'm just curious probably won't actually do this it sounds like it would be a big job Very Happy

My singer vogue mk3 is disk brake.
Perhaps the front set up would swap over?

Possibly, can anyone confirm this would work? Would be good to get some more modern brakes! Very Happy

The critical point is the caliper mounting, so the correct selection of the hub is essential. Many different set-ups over the years, but as already indicated, if you can rob hubs from a later model, the work will be a lot easier.

It should be easy because all the Rapiers/Alpines from 1960 onwards have front disc brakes and use the same front cross member.
