Anyone know if it is in any way shape or form possible to convert the singer Gazelle 111c/Hillman minx to front dsisc brakes? It must be possible somehow. I'm just curious probably won't actually do this it sounds like it would be a big job |

My singer vogue mk3 is disk brake.
Perhaps the front set up would swap over?

Possibly, can anyone confirm this would work? Would be good to get some more modern brakes! |

The critical point is the caliper mounting, so the correct selection of the hub is essential. Many different set-ups over the years, but as already indicated, if you can rob hubs from a later model, the work will be a lot easier. _________________ KA

It should be easy because all the Rapiers/Alpines from 1960 onwards have front disc brakes and use the same front cross member.

Speedy Spares is one of the most likely places for info & good to deal with.
They are also on-line.Cheers,JD. _________________ 1958 Ford Zephyr Mk2 Convertible
