Morning all,

One for the "oddball post-war low-volume British car" file I think, in the unusual form of a 1951 Lea-Francis 14hp saloon.

Detail regarding its precise condition is a little sketchy in the listing, and better photos would be a help, but I think it has a certain charm (just lose the eyelids!!! Wink).

Why does an alleged business place such a naff advert on eBay when it is so simple to place a meaningful one. What are they really trying to hide?

Yes, a lot of general information on the model but a bit light on specific details of this car.
I had one many years ago when I could only afford to run cars that, at the time, were regarded as bangers. I rather liked it and a friend had an estate version. The engine was similar in appearance to that in the Riley RM and I think may have been designed by the same man.
