I had Bertie a 1972 Bedford CF camper totally original but sadly I had to sell him as whilst he was still passing the MOT I could see a big restoration bill coming.
You got loads of smiles every time you took him out

The side view certainly made me think of the 400E. Even the wheels!

It appears that many more of the Bedfords are for sale on the classic makes than transits.
