Hi,
I am new to this site and am having problems using the search as whatever I type in it just does not give me anything like what I am looking for so apologies if this subject is already covered somewhere.
We have a Hillman Super Minx 1966 1725cc and it is almost perfect but one niggle is the by-pass hose, it is looking very sorry for itself although not leaking I wouldn't like to trust it on a long journey so any idea where I can get one, preferably is there a concertina style one to fit as don't fancy taking the head off just for a little hose, now when we purchased it we were told the engine had had a complete rebuild but surely they would have replaced this hose , anyway we have previously done a bypass hose on a mini with the concertina type but not sure if the same one will fit .
Any info gratefully received |

Their website is just an idea of what they stock and not very user friendly, ring them up, great people and will sort you out.

Thank you so much for this, I actually have the older version in print but it only goes up to the MKIII and mine is the MKIV so a few differences, I did not think to check in the book so it was under my nose all the time Ha ha I was hoping someone would say the mini one will fit as they are so easy to get hold of but will buy from speedy spares instead. |

Just get the hose warm and it goes on fine, not sure why the head would need to come off?

because to me it looks exactly like the mini ones and we had to take the head off of that first time as it sits under the head on top of the water pump , I will still look for the concertina style one as we used one on a mini and that made it much easier |
