Ebay Item : 282263563405
If someone can kindly post this link.
Is the world going completely mad?
£15k for scruffy Ford Escort van?
In December 1983 I paid £150 for this :

One elderly lady owner, 30k miles,FSH, only ever carried two folding chairs, a small calor gas stove and a basketweave picnic box. And it had a new MOT and six months tax.
Is it me or is the country losing it's grip on reality? [/img] _________________ Starting Handle Expert

Yep, completely mad |
Blame decimalisation!
Probably just a typo or two. At 14.99GBP & 300,000 miles it's not a bad deal. _________________ Mike - MVPeters at comcast.net

Like so many things on ebay, if its old its seen as valuable, when other vehicles are so high in price no wonder people chance it when selling. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |

Not so much eBay as the Ford word. Scene tax is just amazing. It'll be bought and in two years time it'll have a Cologne V6 and all the other "standard" Ford updates added to it. The way they carry on, some years in the future, there will be no base spec old Fords left as reference samples.

Agreed John. I see Range Rover lse advertised for £49,995.
I know they are becoming rare, but anyone with that much money can have mine for half that! |
