Hi
I saw a chap riding a large wheeled Unicycle in Bury at lunchtime, it was on the road in a normal cycle lane and appeared as if it is his normal transport.
When I first saw him approaching head on it actually looked like an Ordinary (PF) with his hand position as they would be on those narrow h/bars PFs have, it was only as he got close that I realised there was no trailing back wheel _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.

Some years ago we raced in the red bull 24 hour mountain bike race and there were off road unicycles racing. We said we didn't think they would be able to complete the course, how wrong we were. During the night it was strange to see them coming down the hill near the start/finish area with their head lights on. _________________ 1957 ford popular |

I saw one last year in Edinburgh at festival time in city traffic. He could achieve quite respectable speed and when waiting at traffic lights could remain almost motionless without puting a foot down.
