Surprised to see that is a Morris, thought that A60 would mean it is an Austin but could be wrong. Last Minor Vans were Austin badged so it seems a bit of chaos at BMC at the time.
Second surprise was to see the year - 1972. When did they actually stop making this old type pickup / van?
I knew for utility vehicles usually the older / existing version soldiered on for many years even when the saloon type on which the utility was based had been replaced. Examples are the Standard Eight van in the early sixties, this BMC van and the A35 van (made until 1968?).
Peugeot did the same, the 404 pickup was available years after the 504 saloon took over from the 404 saloon. Same with the 504 pickup, available until the early nineties. _________________ a car stops being fun when it becomes an investment |

Hi
BMC/BL or what ever they called themselves back then never did a commercial version of the Farinas so the A55 mk1 base continued in commercial form right through until the Marina based commercials started.
I have a sort of memory of seeing one with a Morris badge. _________________ Bristols should always come in pairs.
