One of my headlight lamps has blown and until I convert the car to 12v I need to replace it to keep using the car. Are halogen suitable for the standard 5 3/4 headlights fitted to a ford popular. _________________ 1957 ford popular |

Only if the Dynamo has enough capacity to supply what will almost certainly be a higher wattage bulb.

I haven't checked the wattage of the existing bulb Dave but the globe shaped bulb I've seen for sale is 45/40w and the halogen is available in 35/35w _________________ 1957 ford popular |
