The fuel tank of the vehicle I'm restoring has a "Pie Crust" fuel cap, this is NOT the push and turn type but extrnaly threaded 2 1/16" diam' 16 tpi Right hand Whitworth.

I've tried all the places I can think of, anyone out there got one they would like to dispose of?

Cheers, Tony. Confused

Apologies but please confirm; it is externally threaded? It screws in and not on the neck? And the thread measurement across is 2 1/16 not 2.0?

It's called a 'Pie Crust' because there are scallops around trhe edge and it is 2 and 1/16 diameter, that's two inches and one sixteenth across the threads. (not the whole cap) it is externally threaded so the fuel orifice is threaded internally.

Cheers, Tony

This fuel cap was fitted to B.S.A. 'Slopers' between 19:30 - 19:50's.

Cheers, Tony.
