I will second that , Martin Jay (distributor doctor ) is a very nice man to deal with and very helpful with any problems. Although I still have points in my van Martins ignition parts have transformed the E83W. |

Well, if the problem of poorly made rotor arms has been going on for 20 years there's little chance mine is an old one but looks old, 20 years old or more I couldn't say. Yes I am fitting electronic ignition once the 12v conversion is done and everything is working. _________________ 1957 ford popular |

The electronic ignition I bought is accuspark and comes with a red rotor arm, no telling if it's genuine or fake. I'm guessing it's what you are all thinking. _________________ 1957 ford popular |

A "proper" red rotor arm will have "DD" moulded on it (often up the inside).
