I'm fitting a fuel contents sender unit to a new fuel tank. Is Blue Hylomar the best sealant for the job? Question I have a tube or two.

Well, Rolls Royce use it on their donks!

Cheers, Tony. Razz

Never use Blue Hylomar anywhere where it can come into contact with Petrol!

Never had a problem with it myself but don't take my word for it.

Perplexed here!

1 says Yea & 1 says Nay! So, after inspecting the link, I'm gonna go for it.

Thanks to you both. Cheers, Tony. Smile

Well it's in. I have quite a few months untill I fill it with fuel. I'll give it a couple of months then carry out a leak check. Thanks once again.

Cheers, Tony.

I use Gasket Shellac for all fuel connections, parts, gaskets, etc., in cars and professional fuel tank & filter systems.
