Hi folks,

There was a restored example of a 14hp LeaF at the Oswestry classic car show earlier in the year, and even erindoors commented on how nice it looked (especially the interior). Now this ebay gem is many light-years away from that kind of condition, but - if I had the space and fewer projects - for £1450 ono I think I'd snap this one up to tinker with over time.

The major downside would appear to be the dismantled and corroded engine, whether a replacement could be found or not I don't know. Details regarding the state of the interior also appear to be sketchy.

Perhaps it could be re-engined with a period replacement? heresy I know, but to get it back on the road while a correct engine was sought or built up?

Does anyone know whether these are ash framed or not, beneath the aluminium body?

I think I've a grille for one of these hanging up in the garage, perhaps I should leave my LeaF ownership at that level!

Indeed so - a photo of the interior has now been added too, which is a little off-putting.
