Hi all,
Cutting down an old saloon to make a pickup or van is nothing new, but often the resulting vehicle can look like a bit of a pig's ear, with the proportions and overall style nowhere near looking like a factory creation.
This Wolseley was created back in the 1970s from a rusty old saloon, by a carpenter who obviously has an eye for how these things should look. While the colour is a little "sudden", I really like this converted Wolseley. There are echoes of contemporary Hillman/Commer and Austin, especially with the raised roofline of the rear van section, and the rear wheel spats.

It does looks very Hillman-esque from the side. _________________ Various Rootes Vehicles. |
