A simple fix for slow indicators or one's that do not operate when the main lights are on. The relay is operated by a bi-metallic strip that heats up when current is passed. If the vehicle battery voltage drops under load insufficient current passes to heat the strip. Replace one bulb on each side with a dual filament bulb that has had the contacts solders together at the base. The combined filaments will reduce the overall resistance and increase the current flow through the relay. As the activation is only intermittent the heat build up from the bulb is not enough to cause failure, 8 have had them in operation for a while with no problem.
