I have a '54 Ford Pop 103e and after sorting out mechanicals and getting it all settled I would now like to replace the "carpets"

They are a sort of vinyl with hessian type backing and look to be very hard wearing but have a few splits that I don't think I can repair. I've searched on the internet etc. but all that comes up is carpet.

Pic of interior attached (I hope)

Any pointers? - Thanks

Its called Hardura and was available in a range of colours until the 1980's. Only Black seems to be available now from Woolies etc

Agree with above. I would prefer an old original covering with a few splits over a modern replacement.

It looks great as-is, is that the original floor covering? if so it'd be quite rare now I bet.

I agree with the 'It looks good, don't replace it' comments but if you really want to, red is available here: http://www.car-hood.co.uk/hardura-tuffelt-classic

Thanks for all the replies they are really helpful.

"Hardura" - I've been racking my brain for weeks now trying to remember what it was called.

I'll try a couple of ideas I have to repair it. I really want to stop it from getting any worse more than replace it. I'll post up a couple of before and after pics to show how I get on.
