Overall it does look good, but does need a and b post repairs and sills. Roof seam by gutter needs some work on the drivers side. To be fair it's 60 years old and is entitled to have rust.

When I got the pop the former owner said the boot lid needed slamming to get it to stay shut, yesterday I had a look at it and had to drill out the rusty bolts that hold the locking block to the opening lip. Messed about and old really see why it didn't stay shut when closed gently. Had another look today and measured the block to lip and block rested on lock bolt to boot lid lip. Bolted the block back on and ground the opening lip just needed prising out a couple of millimetres, it now shuts nicely. I had put a strip of insulating tape across the body and boot lid to remind me that the boot wasn't closed, in case I thought to drive it. After I got it to close I peeled the tape off and the black paint came off with it. Looks like the car had a hasty respray and had not been flatted properly. When I complete the welding I will rub down and remove all the black and paint again.
