A decent turnout helped by the pleasant weather saw a range of cars from a Ford Model T to a BMW Z1, with a lot in between.

A couple of Crossley models were on display, given the connection between the current owner of the Abbey and the company

The "overspill" car park became a little fuller than expected, with group arrivals from various Triumph, Morgan and Mercedes clubs

Looks good, I was tempted to pootle over but in the end spent half the day getting my A40 running again, for the first time in 20 years.

I wonder if they'll do it again sometime?

I meant to ask, but they seemed quite busy and it was often difficult to pick out who was in charge. I would imagine they've collected quite a bit for their charity, so it that regard it must be viewed as a success. I'd like to go again, the short-day format is about right as there's not a massive amount to do there, but part of the interest for me was precisely because they don't do these things much there. Very interesting mix of cars.
