Hi all,

Little Dodge was awoken from its slumbers, and pointed in the general direction of a local watering hole, which just happened to be hosting the annual local NYD old-car gathering. Organised by the local Cheshire/Shropshire VSCC rep, anyone with an interesting old vehicle is invited along.

I certainly wasn't expecting to see a convoy of old tractors arrive en masse, nor was the 1910 Napier - on its first run out since UK registration - something I'd expected to find either.

The weather was a tad damp to begin with, but the brisk breeze soon blew away the damp stuff, leaving blue skies for most of the time junior and I were there.

A fine start to the year, and a chance to catch up with a good number of people - including forumers MikeEdwards, and Salopian in his Alvis.

I'm just back from a 90 mile round trip to a Pre War Austin Seven Club gathering; unfortunately the cars were all scattered around the car park amongst the moderns, so you'll just have to put up with my car on the journey!

I like the Vauxhall, a 14 by the looks of it and the Jowett van is an unusual survivor.

Right with you Rootes 75. I was pleased to see Vauxhall as old Vauxhalls seem to have almost vanished. Please to see Mike's Jowett lorry out too. There is an article about this in the current Classic Van & Pick-up Mag. Known it for years but until I read the article did not realise it was built by the factory as a "special".
Fantastic collection of "real" motors - most, I guess, without heaters!!!!!!

Hi
Trying to work out the tricycle steering.
I think the front bars are fixed and the rear cyclist steers it, and also the forks stay pointing forward and the wheel pivots within the forks controlled by the white "rods" going forward from the rear axle.
