On another Forum, I came across reference to this link-

http://forum.retro-rides.org/thread/201449/free-chrome-extension-photobucket-pictures?hotlinkfix=1515106792901

On that forum, you can find links to get around the Photobucket image blocking. I downloaded the Mozilla link and it works well.

I am now using another image hosting site, but would like to re-write some of my old postings, especially the 'how to' ones. Using the work-around, I can at least identify the specific photos that I used, so that I can fit them into the re-written story.

I would like to ask a question about the Photobucket issue.

I have been paying Photobucket about £20ish a year for a few years now as I ran out of free space, it also gives me add free viewing of my photos, I have not had the problem of them blocking my photos and I continue to put them on forums with no problem.

The question is:- Is this option to pay £20ish (can't remember exact amount) not still available ?

I don't personally have a problem paying this as it keeps me add free and protects my photos.

Wow!

Dane, thanks very much for that. It does work well. Photobucket will not be happy.

I have paid the $1.99 a month for a few years, basically to get rid of the adds, don't pay anymore now and have not had had the site posting block that Photobucket imposed.

I don't have a problem paying for the service.

Is this 'modification' available if you don't subscribe to Chrome?

Cheers, Tony. Question

If you follow Dane's link it appears to be available for both Opera and Firefox too.
