Hi all,

As long-term forumers may remember, I've been fond of E83Ws ever since dragging my first out of a field, back in 1989. That one is now in the care of forumer "buzzy bee", but others followed later.

None were as immaculate as this little beaut' though!!

Were there different floor options on the passenger side? I had a ride in Buzzy's (Ricks original) and recall having to tuck my knees under my chin!

Hi
Have a look at picture 6 taken from the drivers side, raised passenger footwell floor and no room to stretch your legs forward because of the offset engine.

That is immaculate, strong price though in my opinion.

I tend to agree with the sentiment that a van should be a van though and not overdone.

That's how they were, thanks to the offset engine. Although I did read in a FSOC magazine the other day that in New Zealand, there's a van with a sunken floor fitted on the passenger side to offer a semblance of legroom. Whether this was an option from new, or something fitted by an enterprising owner or dealer, I'm not entirely sure as I've never heard of it before.

I tend to go with the more "used" look myself, but occasionally it is nice to see a minter. But I'd be too scared to own it I think for fear of damage!!

They did LHD, with the engine parked over to the other side. Hence the two starting handle holes in the grille (on all but the very earliest examples).
