Hi all,

Last year we stayed up in Cumbria, so a visit to the Lakeland Motor Museum seemed like a reasonable plan.

We'd been before, in 2007, but since then it had re-located to more suitable premises. The collection really is something to behold, and I'd recommend it to anyone who finds themselves in the Lakes.

The neighbouring Campbell museum is also well worth a look.

That Hillman Minx Drophead Coupe looks beautiful and my boy would love one of the vintage pedal cars.

Looks like such a good varied selection of vehicles and memorabilia.

Thanks Rick! A fabulous set of photos. Next time I'm in the UK I think a run up north to visit that museum will be a must.

Its weird being the same age as old people.

I love the radiator mascot with the big bushy moustache. Do you know is there a story behind it?
