Amazing what they think a "Rare 1100 base specification" 1968 Ford Escort will fetch. One can only ask: why?

A couple of interesting cars in the auction. I quite like the Austin 10/4 cabriolet and the beautiful Rapier convertible.
Good to see they think a rare Imp Sport is worth more than a couple of hundred.
Have to confess I never ever have heard of a Nissan Stagea -not that this 90s car is of particular interest to me I might add.

And a special one for Rootes75 Very Happy :

I like the 1939 Vauxhall 10 but star of the auction for me is the Fordson 7V lorry. Only yesterday, I put up a photo of my Grandfathers 7V on the forum!

Agreed, the 7V is nice.
Less said about the Mk2 Jag pickup the better I feel.
The '34 Austin 10 tourer is another bobby dazzler, as badhuis mentions, I also like the Singer Junior although the colour would need to change.

I thought the colour combination looked like it might be original, do you not think so or you just don't like it?

I'm not sure about whether it's original, I'm just not keen on the colour combo really Smile

(but if it's original, fair enough)

I also feel it is a bit too much. Painted shells for the head lamps and sidelights?
Probably the grille with its strange central divider is original but I do not like that as well.
