Hi all,

anyone that know where I can buy a std size 12 volt 60 amp battery with filling caps on top.

I dont want the old type with the lead connectors on top.

Something like this = http://www.volvo1800-120parts.com.au/images/123gt/brochures/1968123gt/123gtback1968.jpg

The Tayna website is very useful, try putting in your dimensions?

Cheers Steve

You do not need to keep to the exact AH -within in 10-20% over or 10% under will be OK.

Its the dimensions/terminal layout that is important. Modern batteries are a lot smaller than they were 20 years ago.

Taynor is good

Jens,

You should follow Richard’s link to https://www.lincon.co.uk/. They list all the dimensions that they do. I’m sure you will find something to suit you there.

I'd recommend Tayna. Had a battery off them recently as the decent local factors closed down - there's another ripoff merchant locally, but the prices! I was skeptical about getting something as heavy as a battery by mail order but the price was good and it arrived next day as promised, I was well pleased.

I have recently had a 6v 421 battery from them, and previously 2 sets of mobility scooter batteries for different scooters for my parents,
and before that one for the Landy, and one for the Honda TN7 !!

Can't fault them, brilliant service & product Cool
