Hi all
Just picked up a Austin A40 Somerset few days back. Needs a full restoration.
Will be a long term project
should be arriving end of May as i need to get garage for my garage plot to store it before it’s brought up.
Need to find out who I can send Vin to as it’s no plate so need to figure out hopefully from vin number what it is so I can get one made for it and apply for V5

Good luck with your Somerset restoration- I’ve completed a full “from bare chassis” resto on mine, along the way I’ve found some super artisans to work with, and for the best help you should join the Austin Counties Car Club - they have an excellent parts supply for what up until recently hs been a relatively unloved old car. Any questions, shout for help!
