The number is not on the DVLA database, so, as long as there is documentary evidence it can be preserved on this car, but on a non-transferable basis. _________________ in the garage: 1938 Talbot Ten Airline

^^^ Great news, and the plate would almost certainly be off within the next month if that wasn't the case.
The LG Chester registration is of interest to me, due to dad's side of the family being several generations of Chester dwellers
The A60 doesn't look too bad, but they can rot for England so it's difficult to know how bad it is without seeing it. I definitely prefer Dick Burzi's styling (A40, A50, A55 mk1) to the Pininfarina cars, but the estate is very practical and appealing, especially with the split tailgate and decent carrying capacity. _________________ Richard Hughes |
