We have a club member having some interior upholstery work done on a Wolseley 12/32 convertible. He needs "Hidem caps"

These. Anyone know of a source for such a thing?
Thanks,

Maybe they can be found here although the search for "hidem" came up empty. They do have lots of interior finishing stuff though.

If you get really stuck on this, there's a square Model T type end cap that should have enough material to be modified. You'd need two caps to make one corner cap, basically trim off the return on one side and then cut the other side at 45 degrees, weld together and dress back before applying whatever finish you wanted (presumably painted). It's a fair amount of work for such a small item.

Unlike the pointed ones that seem easier to get, these have a useful square profile. There's a lot of suppliers of them too, so price and quality does vary. |
