What a weekend! I was invited to stay with the Heynes family, he who designed the XK engine during the war, and their collection of his engineering designs is mind-blowing. But the event was truly incredible. I managed to sneak onto the roof of a transporter and took this just to give you an idea of the scale of the event. And this was just one corner of the XK car park - there were four other car parks as well. Let me know if you would like to see more.

Now how do a GN Spider and Old Number 8 qualify for an XK event?

Well, I thin Ol' 8 has an SS radiator, and as for the GN, it was being worked on all weekend and didn't move to my knowledge. I just included the two for interest. |
