The recent change redirecting adverts for sold items is most unhelpful. You can't even see the original listing in Completed Listings.

Go to your "My Ebay" and use the "Tell us what you think" link to express your displeasure.

The change confused me.

I wish ebay would stop mucking about with things, every week something seems to change, not often for the better.

I hadn't noticed this, but then I don't go on there all that often. I get three emails a day for results of saved searches, and virtually every date I just delete them without even looking.

It'd be nice if they'd concentrate on the stuff that would make it all better - like strict enforcement of categories. If I search for dash cams, I don't want to see dash cam accessories, only dash cams. So when I order the results by price, I don't want 20 pages of dash cam mounts, cables, and other semi-related junk to wade through before I see what I want. And they should be developing a policy to terminate with extreme prejudice sellers who list every one of their 20,000 identical items individually, and those who put "not" in their description just to fudge the results. You've all seen them - "Austin Maxi not Ford Escort Mk2 Lancia Delta Integrale".

I have 4 searches on ebay and just the same I simply delete the notification emails when they come through. I should really just stop the searches.

I've used "Sold" & "Completed" listing Advanced Search options to find actual selling prices - I think they used to return different results.
Now it seems if you select one, both are selected & the search runs; then you can switch one off, the search runs again but the results are the same.
This is based on some very limited 'testing'.
Is anyone finding something different?

I too found this hugely irritating. It was eventually pointed out to me that when you click on the link and it redirects you to a different, current listing, at the top it says something like 'The listing you were trying to reach is unavailable'. If you look closely, the word "listing" is a hyperlink that takes you straight to the page you were trying to view in the first place!

It's yet another example of eBay messing with things simply because they've got a load of techs sat around and have to be seen to be doing something to justify their inflated salaries!
